Crofton Hammond Infant school Friday saw us visit Crofton Hammond Infants to help raise money for the school. Louise Maskell who used to play golf for Hampshire herself invited us along to take part in a fun filled afternoon. Pitched up next to the cake stall we ran a target game and had girls and boys taking part, some experienced and lots new to golf. They all took the challenge with young Jasmine and Leo winning themselves a US Kids putter each for their fantastic skills. These events are so great and it’s amazing how many people do play golf, speaking to Leo’s Nan I discovered she grew up playing at Royal Birkdale and Hillside. By the time we finished I was devastated the cakes were all gone, did manage to sneak a 99 cone with a flake in it though!
