Many of you will know Harry from the years he has played at the Club from junior golfer to men’s first team player, building a very respectable 0.5 handicap to turn professional off. Now beginning the PGA diploma scheme, Harry will train in each area of the game including teaching, retail, rules and club repairs. These are just a few of the areas of learning in his career path, along with playing opportunities that the PGA presents. Many congratulations to Harry on turning professional and a massive thank to all of you that have helped Harry along the way including staff, professionals, junior organisers, members and even those of you that have stopped to show an interest at last light when we’ve all had that putt to win the Open on the practice putting green! You really all do make a difference in the development of a young golfer, this is a celebration for you all. I never miss a chance to promote my beloved Tottenham, but I got the headline of this article slightly wrong, it should have read “He’s one of your own!” Many congratulations!
